Phuket could be your next favourite Destination. Check this out!
The province of Phuket is located in Thailand’s southern region (Changwat). Phuket, the second-smallest province in Thailand, has an area slightly smaller than Singapore’s at 576 km2 (222 sq mi). Before tourism, its primary sources of income were tin and rubber.
Thailand’s largest island is Phuket, and Southern Thailand’s Andaman Sea is where it is situated. The island’s west has a mountain range from north to south, and most of the island is made up of mountains. The Phuket mountain range, which extends for 440 kilometres (270 miles) from the Kra Isthmus, is terminated at its southernmost point by the hills of Phuket.
According to travel experts, one of the world’s best beaches is in Phuket. The city is a charming vacation destination thanks to its magnificent white sands, swaying palm trees, sparkling oceans, and bustling cities. On Thailand’s Indian Ocean coast, it is nestled in the warm Andaman Sea. The hot and muggy weather here lasts the entire year, with March through early May often being the warmest month. The local culture mingles ethnic Malays, native Thais, Thai-Chinese, and even sea gipsies. The island is home to many beach resorts, spas, hotels, and cafes, offering a vast selection of dining and partying alternatives. Despite being 49 kilometres long, Thailand’s largest island doesn’t feel like an island.

Best time to visit

Vector Smart Object copy 6
The best time to visit Phuket is November and February because that is the coldest season. Since the monsoon season is finished, the temperature at this time ranges from a more comfortable 23°C to 30°C and is drier. It’s a beautiful time to unwind on the beach and participate in water sports.
Phuket gets incredibly busy, especially from the second half of December. Reserving a seat in advance at a restaurant or bar might be wise.

Patong Beach

Catch Some Rays at Patong Beach

Before development and tourists turned it into a busy hub of activity instead of a sanctuary from the world, Phuket’s longest beach was also the most picturesque. Even yet, Patong is a fantastic place to people watch, and one of the beautiful things about Thailand is that it is also a country of opposites in addition to being a nation of smiles.

Take a stroll on Kata Beach's Golden Sands

Kata Beach is a picturesque, curving bay flanked by verdant hills at either end and fringed with casuarinas and palms. Head south to neighbouring Kata Noi Beach if you want an even calmer section of the coast.

Karon Beach, a 3.5-kilometre stretch of squeaky, golden sand and turquoise sea roughly 15 minutes distant and less developed than famed Patong Beach, draws many couples and children.

Gain knowledge about the past of Phuket Town

Don’t miss taking a stroll through Old Phuket Town’s streets to see the well-maintained shophouses, Sino-Portuguese homes, temples, and shrines.
